Submission Form (PURE Insights)

PURE Insights Submission Form

Submit your work to PURE Insights using this form

Step 1 of 6

16%

Follow the instructions below to submit a manuscript to the PURE Insights. Shortly afterward, you will receive an email confirming your submission.

The submission process consists of the following steps:
  1. Read and accept the Article Submission Agreement
  2. Provide information about yourself
  3. Provide information about any authors
  4. Upload your article and related items
Before you begin, please be sure you have the following items:
  • Article Title
  • An abstract (separate from the article body)
  • Keywords for your article (optional)
  • Article in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word, PDF or RTF.
Articles must be submitted without a title page, abstract, or page numbers. These will be provided by the system.
  • This is especially important so that you do not inadvertently include any identifying information about the authors, as the article you submit will be sent to reviewers.

No part of the submission is final until all steps have been completed and you click the final Submit button. The review process begins as soon as PURE Insights receives a readable article, along with the abstract and article title.

Submission Agreement(Required)

Please review the following submission agreement ("Submission Agreement") and indicate your agreement below.

By submitting this work (“Your Work”), you hereby grant Western Oregon University (“WOU”) a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free right to reproduce and distribute Your Work in any format or medium for non-commercial, academic purposes only. You retain all ownership rights to Your Work and do not give up the right to submit the work to publishers or other repositories. Please note on submission the form if your manuscript is being submitted to or is currently under review by a professional journal and the name of the journal. Authors are to notify the managing editor and their faculty sponsor(s) within 48 hours upon the manuscript’s acceptance elsewhere. Dual submission (to a professional journal) is allowed as long as it is understood that the article must be pulled from PURE Insights prior to the PURE Insights publication. Once an article is published in a PURE Insights volume, it is not eligible for removal.

WOU will clearly identify your name(s) as the author(s) or owner(s) of Your Work.

You represent and warrant that:

Your Work does not infringe or violate someone else’s rights or otherwise violate the law, and you have authority to grant WOU all of the rights under this license.

By clicking Agree you agree and consent to the Submission Agreement.

For complete details about refereeing obligations, rights, and warranties, see PURE Insights policies page.
