I have combined the autobiography of my mother with my own written additions. I have entitled this work EVA: A TEACHER'S LIFE. My mother, Evangeline Grace (Benton) Steinhauer was a member of the August 1932 graduating class of Oregon Normal School. I have a chapter devoted to her normal school experience from 1930-1932, as well as chapters devoted to her teaching experience at Minerva, Deadwood, Elmira, Lone Pine, Eugene, and Junction City. This work is 270 pages in length and deals with her life up to the age of sixty-two. In writing the chapter on ONS, you graciously assisted me with info on the graduating classes in and around 1932.
