I have recently been researching my connections to this area as well as WOU (prior to my attendance there) and I am looking for some information to solve a mystery I cannot seem to on the regular internet. In January of 1929 there was a private boarding house fire on the campus of Oregon Normal School. Everyone had just returned from break that day with Winter Term classes starting the following day. The homeowner Minnie Mack, lit candles that she had received as a gift from one of the ladies. It caught the Christmas tree on fire and subsequently the entire house. Three ladies died in the fire, one of which was my great great aunt, Florence "Flossie" Graham. The mystery I am trying to solve is the location of the house. News articles indicate that it was on campus. Thanks for any help on this.
